Miami, the "Magic City," is located in Florida on the South East Coast of the United States. The Metropolitan area is composed of two cities, Miami and Miami Beach, separated by the Bay of Biscayne. From the white sandy beaches of South Beach to the colorful streets of Little Havana, from the UNESCO Everglades National Park to the fashionable atmosphere of Wynwood and its murals, every day is filled with unforgettable experiences.

The Campus at Barry University

Barry University is a private university with an international reputation. The pristine campus is located in Miami Shores, a residential neighborhood in the northern district of Miami. It features lush tropical vegetation, royal palm trees, sport fields and a large outdoor swimming pool. The college also features a library, a convenience store, a modern cafeteria, a Dunkin Doughnuts store and various theatre-style areas for evening activities. The whole campus is smoke-free.

Your Stay

Our program is housed in the most recent University Hall, a fully air-conditioned building featuring a spacious lobby, student event rooms and a a modern laundry room.

Housing

In mini-apartments, en-suite style with two twin rooms sharing a bathroom. Group leaders accommodation: single room. Housing is in air-conditioned, modern residence halls of recent construction. Linens and towels provided.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Friday. Breakfast and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

Sports Facilities

Volley and soccer fields, tennis courts. The gym and fitness center are not available to students under 18.

English Program

15 clock hours per week. The English course is offered at 5 levels, from A2 to C2, in international classes of max 20 students.

Leisure & Cultural Program

Excursions include entrance fees to attractions, including the memorable visit to the NASA Kennedy Space Center.

Two extended excursions with late return

Miami tour with dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, Fort Lauderdale beach with dinner out

Half day excursions

Fort Lauderdale Canals Cruise and Las Olas walk, Miami South Beach, Wynwood and Design district Miami, Miami Lincoln Road, National Park of the Everglades (includes air-boat ride)
