Fort Lauderdale, the "Venice of America," is located in the heart of the Florida Gold Coast, one hour North of Miami and three hours from Orlando. A visually spectacular metropolitan area built on islands and hundreds of miles of canals and waterways, it offers a safe, clean and wealthy environment. The city is a dynamic, fast growing financial and business center and is also home to many large multinational companies. Thanks to its world-famous golden beaches, lined by towering palm trees, Fort Lauderdale is the US most popular Spring-break destination for American college students.

The School

The Junior school is located in the heart of downtown, minutes from Las Olas Boulevard, and the entertainment and shopping district. The Junior school features air-conditioned classrooms.

Your Stay

Ideally located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, the Embassy Suites Hilton offers a lively downtown atmosphere. The hotel features a tropical swimming pool, an inviting on-site restaurant, an outdoor cafe and a store.

Accommodation

Arrival on Sunday- Departure on Saturday Accommodation is in a 4-star hotel, in triple occupancy suites (3 participants per room). Each suite features one room with two queen beds and one room with a queen-size sleeper. Bed linens and towels provided. Beach towels not provided. Hotel residents are shuttled from the hotel to school and back by private vans.

Bathroom/student ratio 1:3.

Meals

The program offers full board from Monday through Friday: American breakfast and dinner at the hotel. A cash lunch allowance is provided Monday through Friday for students to have lunch at diners, fast food restaurants, food courts or markets of their choice before leaving for the excursion of the day. Half board (breakfast and dinner) on weekends

English Program

15 clock hours per week in international classes of maximum 15 participants.

The program features a full schedule of exciting sightseeing visits to many South Florida attractions.
